About CASS

Formed in 2006 as a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) by the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Yolo County, and Trinity County, CASS was established to provide cost-effective, responsive inspection and pest eradication services that support and protect agriculture, public health, safety, and welfare.

CASS’s mission is to protect and support California’s agricultural industry and its consumers.
